Goal of the Job:

To monitor telecommunications services and electronic interaction for any misuse as defined by the GSMA initiative. Where any misuse is identified, the role will require the providing of support to the fraud unit using the NRTRDE solution within the 4 hour deadline from when roaming call was completed, thus requiring 24/7 continuous and dedicated monitoring.

Requirements for the Candidate:

1 Qualification

A university degree in Accounting / Finance/social science and any other related degree
2 Experience

Minimum of 4yrs Telco experience.
A good knowledge of Accounting procedures are desirable
Good knowledge of IT, Finance and other business related issues
System knowledge
Working knowledge of GSM/Telecom industry
Trend analysis and interpretation of roaming data
Operations knowledge of GSM Company.
Knowledge of fraud behavior and detection methodologies.
Understanding of the Fraud Detection processes for GSM operations
Understanding of the Nigerian regulations related to fraud
Understand industry trends, fraud type trends, driver trends, operational impact on fraud losses, case autopsies and recommendations
Knowledge of internal incident handling plus knowledge of disciplinary, grievance procedures

Job background

Under the guidance and supervision of the Procurement Analyst with matrix reporting to the HR Specialist, the Procurement Associate ensures execution of transparent and efficient procurement of Service Contracts (SC), Special Service Agreements (SSA), Reimbursable Loan agreements (RLA), Non- Reimbursable Loan agreements(NRLA) and other related contract services and manages human resources and global payroll transactions and services for the Service Contract holders in Atlas HCM for UNDP projects and UN Agencies in the CO. The Procurement Associate promotes a client-focused, quality and results- oriented approach in the Unit.

The Procurement Associate works in close collaboration with the operations, programme, Business Development Team and the Programme Finance team in the CO and UNDP HQs staff for resolving complex procurement-related issues and information exchange.

Education:

Secondary education . with specialized certification in HR and Procurement.
University Degree in Purchasing and Supply, Human Resources Management, Business or Public Administration is highly desirable.
Experience:

5 to 6 years of progressively responsible HR and procurement experience is required at the national or international level.
Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and experience in handling of web based management systems.
Language Requirements:

Fluency in English
